Service Description
Stump grinding service at your location. Must allow for equipment access. Stump Size is measured as diameter of stump being removed including root flare.
Cancellation Policy
1. Site Evaluation - All stump grinding jobs require a pre-job site inspection day of grinding. - Access routes to the stump(s) must be evaluated for slope, surface material, width, and obstacles (fences, gates, etc.). - Customer must disclose any known underground utilities near the stump area. 2. Access Requirements - A minimum clearance of 36 inches wide is required for standard stump grinding machines. - Stump must be accessible from at least one direction from the street 3. Customer Responsibility - Customers are responsible for clearing access paths of any obstructions, including: Lawn furniture, hoses, toys, pets, and debris. Unlocking/removing gate panels or fence sections if necessary. - If access is not cleared upon arrival, the job may be rescheduled with a trip fee. 4. Utility Mark-Outs - It is the customer’s responsibility to contact 811 to mark all underground utilities at least 72 hours prior to the job. - If utilities are not marked, the stump grinding will not proceed. 5. Equipment Safety Zones - A 10-foot radius safety zone must be maintained around all stump grinding equipment during operation. - No individuals other than crew members are permitted in the work zone. 6. Surface and Property Protection - We are not responsible for minor turf damage due to equipment movement. - If soft ground conditions are present, customers may request the use of ground protection mats (additional charge). - Sprinkler heads and shallow irrigation lines should be marked or flagged by the customer. 7. Debris and Cleanup - All stump debris (wood chips and grindings) will be left on-site unless removal is specified in the service agreement. - Debris removal is subject to additional fees. 8. Completion and Inspection - After grinding, a crew member will confirm the stump(s) were ground to the agreed depth (typically 6 inches). - Any roots above grade within 12 inches of the stump may also be ground unless otherwise specified. 9. Rescheduling and Cancellations - Jobs cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24-hour notice may incur a cancellation fee. - Access issues not disclosed prior to the job may result in delays or additional charges.
