1. Customer Scope of Work • Tree trimming includes the removal of dead, diseased, or overgrown limbs as outlined in the customer’s estimate or service agreement. • Trimming objectives may include improving tree health, increasing clearance, enhancing aesthetics, or reducing hazards. • The scope does not include removal of the entire tree unless specified. 2. Access Requirements • The customer must ensure unobstructed access to the work area. • Tree areas must be clear of vehicles, furniture, pets, and other personal items. • A minimum clearance of 36 inches is required for equipment if mechanical lifts or chippers are being used. 3. Customer Responsibilities • Customer must identify and mark any underground utilities, sprinkler systems, lighting, or irrigation lines near the base of trees to avoid damage. • Any special requests or concerns (e.g., preserving specific limbs or shapes) must be communicated prior to service. • If the property is governed by an HOA or city ordinance, the customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary approvals or permits. 4. Safety & Liability • The work zone must be kept clear of all non-crew members, including pets and children, during operations. • Tree trimming can result in falling branches and debris; the company is not liable for damage to unsecured items in or near the drop zone. • The company is not responsible for damage to unmarked underground systems (e.g., irrigation lines, landscape lighting). 5. Clean-Up & Debris • Standard service includes removal of limbs, branches, and foliage directly resulting from trimming. • Additional debris unrelated to the trimming job may be removed at an additional cost. • Fine debris (e.g., sawdust, small twigs) may remain in lawn or shrub beds and is considered normal. 6. Tree Health Considerations • The company follows industry best practices (ANSI A300 Standards) to preserve tree health and safety. • If requested trimming compromises long-term tree health or structural integrity, the company may recommend alternate approaches or decline the service. • Customers who insist on aggressive or improper trimming against professional advice assume full liability for tree health or structural failure. 7. Weather & Rescheduling • Trimming may be postponed due to high winds, lightning, or rain for crew and property safety. • Weather-related delays will be communicated promptly and rescheduled at the earliest availability.
